This proposal was developed for Frontier Estates and Mantles Group Limited to develop land on London Road in Biggleswade into a new care home for the elderly. As one of the leading developers in the care home sector, the company has extensive experience in developing facilities of this nature.

The appearance of the building is based around the local use of various materials and architectural styles. The external facade will be a mix of red facing brick and render to reflect the existing dwellings along London Road.

Notwithstanding the wide range of materials and architectural details in the vicinity, the design successfully blends in with its surroundings through the use of brick headers, and the height of the render stop at ground floor level being set to match adjacent properties.
