The proposal was developed for Octopus Healthcare developments in conjunction with Barchester Healthcare, the scheme is for a new care home with modern aesthetics in quite a rural area.The development contains 75 ensuite bedrooms which cater for both the elderly and dementia resident’s needs. Internally there is a cinema, hair salon and cafe along with lounge and dining areas spread over 3 floors.

The building is being developed on a green field site on the outskirts of Melbourn as part of a new housing estate scheme. Set in its own grounds that are there to be landscaped to cater for the resident’s needs as well as several balconied areas where residents can sit out, the site also provides ample off road parking for both staff and guests visiting family and friends.
